The brainchild of bassist and singer/songwriter Noah Baumeister, Santa Fe's Man Hurls Hedgehog play music that is energetic and aggressive, as well as progressive yet with some pop sensibility. Hints of Primus (heavy basslines and nasally vocals) with metallic guitars and snappy drumming give only a hint of what to expect, which is often the unexpected.  Octavio Ramos, The Examiner, 2010

Man Hurls Hedgehog is admittedly a young band, but I find myself humming its catchy jams for days afterward. I can only guess how the music will evolve, but I'm sure, once MHH nails down its style more solidly, the band will be one of the better punk-ish rock acts in town.        Alex DeVore, SF Reporter, 2010

SANTA FE, N.M.- To celebrate their debut album Man Hurls Hedgehog has teamed up with Santa Fe's largest underground, art conglomerate, party throwers Meow Wolf to rock the socks off Santa Fe at a righteous, record release party Saturday, May 4, 9 p.m. at Molly's Lounge. The album will be available for sale at the event and also online at ITunes, Amazon and CD Baby.

Man Hurls Hedgehog has been hard at work for more than a year creating and perfecting their full-length, debut album, self-titled Man Hurls Hedgehog.  The album is a Santa Fe group effort of sorts and engineered by Bill Palmer at Frogville Studios and produced by Ben Wright of D Numbers along with Noah Baumeister, songwriter and leader of Man Hurls Hedgehog).  The album also features the drumming of Paul Feathericci, also of D Numbers and several other Santa Fe musical endeavors.  The album is mastered by Brian Lucey of Magic Garden Mastering  whose credits include The Black Keys, Sigur Ros, and man other well-known bands in the industry.  The album's original artwork is by Lindsay Holt. The CD is dedicated to Bob Schlomann.
