SANTA FE, N.M.The Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe is the host hotel and a sponsor of the Santa Fe Reporter’s Super Spoke, the capital’s inaugural cyclocross event, on Saturday, September 20, 1 – 7 p.m., at the Santa Fe Railyard. The course will be designed by Laurence Malone, a six-time U.S. National Cyclocross Champion and former coach of the U.S. National Team.

event day includes kids races, semi-professional, and professional races.

Schedule

2 p.m. KIDS FUN RACE. Boys & Girls, 4-8 years. Kids will ride  a short course through sprinklers, bubbles, fog and other surprises!

2:3 p.m. KIDS FUN RACE. Boys & Girls, 9-13 years. This race uses the full course!

3-3:30 p.m.  +1 lap: CLASS C. Men, Women & Juniors (14+ years) (Beginner racers in their first season, or two.)

3:45-4:30 p.m. + 1 lap: CLASS B. Women & Junior Women (Somewhat experienced CX racers with only a couple of racing seasons.)

4:45-5:45 pm.  + 1 lap: CLASS A. Men & Women (Very experienced CX racers with several seasons of racing.)

6-6:45  p.m. + 1 lap: CLASS B. Men & Junior Men (Somewhat experienced CX racers with only a couple of racing seasons.)

7 p.m. After-party at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe, downtown’s newest venue! Be sure to reserve your room. Special rates are found HERE.

Entry Fees:
Kids Fun Races, $10; Early Bird tickets: $40 through July 26; $45 through August 30; $50 through September 18; Race day tickets: $55


Sign-in & Packet Pick-up:

Packets will be mailed to those who register by August 31. Registrations received after that must pick-up on either Friday, September 19 from 4-8 p.m  at The Drury Hotel in Santa Fe, or on race day, Saturday, September 20 from 10 a.m – 12 p.m. at The Railyard.

 

Pre-race meetings (racers just need to go to one):

§  Friday, Sept. 19 at 6:00pm at The Drury Hotel (packet pick-up room)

§  Race day at 1 p.m. at the Race Director’s tent.
