"One World Beat" is part of the "Emergence Series" by Emergence Productions, featuring top Native American and Indigenous performing arts in a variety show appealing to all ages and audiences.  "One World Beat" at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino features the 2010 Grammy Winner for Best Native American Recording, Bill Miller, and one of the hardest working comedy acts in the country, James & Ernie. Hosted by comedian Charlie Ballard, "One World Beat" begins with a journey of laughter through comedy impressions, antics and skits followed by a visionary fusion of rock, Native American flute and percussion.  The night doesn't end there! High-energy reggae band Native Roots will take the Blue Tower Lounge stage with danceable reggae and soca beats, completing the night of "One World Beat."

Comedian Charlie Ballard is everywhere. He has recently been on Comedy Central, featured in Indian Country Today and has performed at numerous showcases and festivals. Charlie will also be on the upcoming season of NBC's "America's Got Talent."  A semi-finalist in NBC's "2005 Stand Up for Diversity" competition, Charlie does comedy his own way.  Raised in the Bay Area, he is of Sac and Fox/Anishinaabeg heritage.

A multiple award winning band, Native Roots is known for high energy live performances and its unique contributions to the Reggae genre.  With exceptional live music arrangements created by John L. Williams and showman lead vocalist Shkeme, Native Roots has garnered an international fan base, receives national/international radio play and is currently working on their fourth CD.

James & Ernie perform stand-up comedy throughout Native America and Canada. Drawing in standing-room-only crowds, their hilarious comedy always includes takes on current issues (recession, healthcare, etc.,) and goes beyond the usual stand-up by including dance skits, original character imitation, and use of props.  Through their nine years of performing, James & Ernie have developed their act to appeal to both a Native American and mainstream audience, and are a top-booked act.

The 2010 Grammy Award winner for Best Native American Music, Bill Birdsong Miller h as moved audiences around the world for the past 35 years. Miller is a singer, composer, flutist, painter and storyteller who has become an icon of the Native American arts and music community. Bill Miller has won multiple Native American Music Awards, including a 2007 Lifetime Achievement honor. He has co-written songs with Nanci Griffith, Kim Carnes, and Michael Martin Murphy, and he has toured with Eddie Vedder, Arlo Guthrie, and Richie Havens, to name a few.

Santa Fe Concorso, a premier automotive gathering of exotic and rare cars, will be held at the Pueblo of Pojoaque's legendary La Mesita property.  Weekend events include a Friday night welcome reception for entrants, judges and VIPs; an optional Saturday road tour on the High Road to Taos; and the Sunday Concorso with VIP lunch poolside.  The Sunday, September 26 event will include judging and awards for the field of 50 juried cars. Displays of specialty car clubs will take place in an adjacent display area, along with vendor booths within the equestrian arena.  All weekend events are free to entrants of the show.  General admission is $45.
